Opening a studio is genuinely hard work. What made the difference was not doing it alone: the design and build was mapped out, the pre-sale marketing was ready to go, and the sales coaching kept us on track through launch.

Before you book
What will we cover on the 15-minute call?
Your goals and background, how the model works, the anticipated investment, and what's available near you. If it looks like a fit, the next step is Discovery Day: a two-hour Zoom with our team, held monthly. There's no obligation at any point.
Do I need a fitness background to own a StretchLab?
No. Many of our top franchisees started with none. You'll be trained on the StretchLab model, and your studio is run by certified Flexologists and a General Manager with fitness sales experience. What matters most is being focused, involved and willing to follow a proven system.
What does it cost to open, and what's included?
The anticipated investment is approximately $200K. It covers the franchise fee, design and fit-out of a 70–100m² studio, stretch benches and MAPS, Flexologist training, and your pre-sale launch. Costs vary by location and site, so we walk through each line with you in our unit economics model.
How do owners usually fund it?
Most combine their own capital with business finance, and some open with a partner. Lenders that work with franchises generally look for a personal contribution. Speak with your accountant about what suits you. Bill can share what's worked for other owners.
Do I have to run the studio myself?
No. Owner-operators run the studio day to day. Investor-owners appoint a General Manager with fitness sales experience and a Lead Flexologist, and oversee performance with support from our operations team.
How long until I open?
Typically 6–8 months from signing, depending on your site, landlord works and council approvals. Pre-sales start 12–16 weeks before opening, so you open with founding members already booked in.
