      Hi, I’m Matt, the proud owner of StretchLab Noosa. With a background in Personal Training, Yoga, and AFL, I’m passionate about helping people improve flexibility, recovery, and overall wellbeing through stretching. Having played AFL from a young age through to senior competition, I understand how important recovery, mobility, and injury prevention are for both performance and everyday life. I believe stretching is most effective when combined with movement and breathwork, helping the body relax, recover, and move more freely. My approach is all about creating a personalised stretching experience tailored to each person’s goals, whether that’s reducing tension, improving mobility, supporting recovery, or simply feeling better in your body. In 2023, my wife Steph and I moved from Melbourne to Noosa with our three boys and brought StretchLab to the Noosa community. I love helping members feel and move at their best daily and recover well!

      I’m Steph Vardy, co-owner of StretchLab Noosa, and I'm passionate about helping people feel better in their bodies and live active, healthy lives. My background is in Human Resource Management, where I developed a strong passion for supporting people, building relationships, and helping others grow and thrive. As a mum of three boys, I know how important it is to stay active, healthy, and mobile so I can keep up with the demands of family life and continue doing the things I love. I enjoy Pilates and weight training and have learned firsthand how important mobility, recovery, and looking after your body are for long-term wellbeing. For me, stretching plays a huge role in helping me move well, reduce tension, recover better, and continue training consistently. Being part of StretchLab Noosa has allowed me to combine my passion for wellness, movement, and helping others. I love supporting our members on their journey and helping people improve the way they move, feel, and live every day.

      Hi, I’m Daniel, and I believe that movement is the foundation for health, performance, and overall wellbeing. I have a background in exercise science and have worked extensively with children, teaching Parkour, Gymnastics, Ninja Warrior, and various sports. I’m currently completing my physiotherapy studies, which gives me a deep understanding of the body and how to move it safely and effectively. I know that mobility is key to improving range of motion, reducing pain, and enhancing quality of life. At StretchLab, my mission is to help you move freely, feel your best, and enjoy life without limitations. Together, we’ll work on improving flexibility, reducing tension, and building movement habits that support your daily activities and long-term wellbeing.

      I’m Gisele, originally from Newcastle, NSW, and now living on the Sunshine Coast. My passion for movement, recovery, and performance comes from both my physiotherapy studies and my background as a competitive surfer. I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at the University of the Sunshine Coast and love combining my passion for health and movement through my role at StretchLab Noosa. I believe stretching is essential for improving mobility, reducing muscle tension, supporting recovery, and helping the body move more freely with less pain in sport and everyday life. As a World Surf League Qualifying Series competitor, stretching plays a huge role in my recovery after surfing, gym sessions, long competition days, and even study blocks. One achievement I’m proud of is placing 12th out of 63 women on the World Surf League Junior Tour in 2023. I feel grateful to pursue both physiotherapy and competitive surfing daily!!!

      I’m Juan, originally from Argentina and now proudly calling Noosa home for the past two years. I have a background working in private clinics, where I treated individual patients and also led group wellness sessions. I’m passionate about helping people move and feel better through stretching and mobility work. I believe stretching is essential for everyone, not only to improve movement and flexibility, but also to feel better in everyday life. One achievement I’m most proud of is running my own clinic back in Argentina, where I worked closely with my patients and supported their health and wellbeing. I love being part of the team at StretchLab Noosa and helping our members move more freely and confidently.

      I have been working in the wellness industry since 2012 when I became a group fitness instructor. My passion for helping people improve their health and quality of life led me to become a personal trainer, allowing me to support clients in achieving their individual wellness goals. I believe stretching is one of the most important components of overall health and movement. Regular stretching helps us move more freely in our everyday lives with less pain and discomfort. It also enhances the effectiveness of other forms of exercise, such as strength training, by improving range of motion and allowing the body to perform movements more efficiently. One of my greatest achievements is raising my three beautiful children and leading by example, showing them the importance of prioritising their health, well-being, and self-care. I am passionate about helping others feel their best so they can enjoy life with greater mobility, confidence, and vitality.

      Originally from Argentina and now living on the Sunshine Coast, I am passionate about helping people move, feel, and live better through mindful movement and wellness practices. I completed my 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Radiant Light Yoga and have continued my studies in Yoga Therapy for the Digestive System, Yoga Therapy for Pain Management, Ayurveda, and Kinesiology. I teach a variety of classes, including beginners yoga, chair yoga for seniors, teen programs, and private sessions. I currently teach with Noosa Beach Yoga, the Noosa Aquatic Centre, and the Living Well Program with Noosa Council. I believe stretching is about much more than flexibility. Combined with mindful breathing, it can support recovery, mobility, posture, circulation, and overall wellbeing while helping the body relax and restore. One of my proudest achievements is writing a book while travelling throughout South America, an experience that inspired personal growth, cultural exploration, and creativity.
